The Seasonal Tax Center Manager is responsible for managing one of ten tax sites in Houston during tax season. This includes assisting volunteers, preparing tax returns, performing quality reviews, maintaining a smoothly operating site, resolving conflicts, monitoring equipment and supply inventory, maintaining the confidentiality of client information, meeting all IRS requirements, and maintaining a good relationship with host staff.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and experience
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Three years tax preparation of individual returns
One year of customer service experience
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Enrolled Agent or CPA preferred but not required
COMPUTER PROFICIENCY:
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
SKILLS:
