The supportive services departments work with the organization’s divisions to provide BakerRipley the support to continue building neighborhoods that work.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB SUMMARY:

The Recruiter is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR management in supporting designated areas. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding, recruitment, background/reference checks and administrative support.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support recruitment efforts by managing: interview schedules, pre-employment screenings (Drug and Alcohol, Background), reference checks and offer letters
  • Engage in planning strategies for recruiting needs, including but not limited to understanding job description and job qualifications
  • Support recruiters by qualifying applicants based on requirements
  • Support recruiting by placing job advertisements; using newsgroups and job sites
  • Thoroughly conduct applicants’ phone screenings
  • Administratively support the creation of employee files, answering phones, create orientation packages
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
  • Maintains recruitment records (Ultipro) and compiles reports from the database
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning pre-hire employment (e.g.: I-9 verifications)
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; or

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Three to five years human resources or recruitment experience
