Job Description

BakerRipley provides an integrated holistic education system for families and their children ages six months through eighth grade. The Choices in Education division oversees the early childhood education programs and the BakerRipley Schools, including three community-based elementary schools, one middle school, and a “New Neighbor” school for refugee children – all of which reside within our community centers. Our holistic approach to educating the entire family allows us to create a stronger and more positive impact in the community.  Both children and their parents gain access to education and broader community resources to prepare them for a successful degree and/or career.

JOB SUMMARY:

Lead communication between various stakeholders at the district, campus, and school level to establish a shared vision and goal for student data usage/management.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Assessment Coordinator
    • Assist instructional leadership team to build aligned & data sound assessments
    • Create data entry/management protocol & timeline with campus testing coordinators for major district assessments
    • Manage editing, printing, delivery, and distribution of district assessments
    • Create and facilitate test prep professional development for teachers aligned to district and state guidelines
    • Oversee updates and changes by Texas Education Agency to ensure district meets all accountability guidelines
  • Data Analysis
    • Analyze assessment results and create performance summary reports at the district, campus, and classroom level to identify instructional and student strengths and weaknesses
    • Project student performance and district accountability ratings
  • Instructional Coaching & Professional Development
    • Provide coaching for instructional leaders to develop data-driven instructional plans for student achievement & growth
  • Technology Integration & Management
    • Create and lead implementation strategies for new and existing technology & data management systems
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on each of the on-boarding and implementation steps, including account setup, rostering, training, and automations

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in analyst or project manager role strongly preferred
  • Experience in an educational setting (public school or post-secondary) preferred
  • Experience with Illuminate software a plus

SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to convert raw data into meaningful analysis and recommendations
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage several critical deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter who is excited to manage projects
