The supportive services departments work with the organization’s divisions to provide BakerRipley the support to continue building neighborhoods that work.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general direction of the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Human Resources Coordinator will maintain and track personnel information, and assist with administrative duties while providing excellent customer service.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer all incoming calls within the Human Resources Department (“No Call Unanswered”)
  • Accountable for pre-employment background checks, making badges, updating employees pictures in ADP, issuing Agency’s T-shirts, and ordering business cards
  • Track and log all Human Resources incoming documents and packages
  • Assist the Recruiter by reviewing employment applications and resumes
  • Compile packets and create certificates for new hire on-boarding training
  • Administer employees referral process
  • Update the applicant tracking spreadsheet in order to maintain EEO data
  • Prepare purchase orders, reconcile staffing invoices and check requests
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Oversees the placement of temporary staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training

SKILLS:

  • Uphold an approachable and professional demeanor
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Agency’s HR rules, policies and procedures
  • Committed and operates with integrity to uphold confidentiality in HR related matters
  • Ability to reference, research, resource and respond to HR inquiries
  • Maintain and build internal and external relationships that strengthen Agency’s mission and vision
  • Ability to understand local, state, and federal HR policies and procedures

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY:

  • Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS.
