Job Description


The Recruiter is responsible for performing full-life cycle recruiting and HR-related administrative duties on a professional level and works closely with HR management in supporting designated areas. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: full-life cycle recruitment/staffing, onboarding, background/reference checks and administrative support. The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills.  The temporary recruiter will enjoy building relationships and working in an environment that values resourcefulness, adaptability and efficiency.  Success measures include effective hiring placements, compliance with federal and state regulations, reporting, presentation skills, as well as, efficiently managing the back office on-boarding process.



  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and recommend new approaches for continuous improvement of all recruiting processes
  • Manage full- cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding to acquire an excess of extraordinary talent
  • Use a variety of methods (cold calls, online databases, social media, employee referrals and career fairs) to source candidates that meet the target profile
  • Participate and attend job fairs and campus recruiting events as a means to obtain a strong pipeline of candidates and to effectively meet hiring needs and objectives
  • Promote company culture to ensure that all metrics and performance goals are achieved ethically and with integrity
  • Support recruitment efforts by managing: interview schedules, pre-employment screenings (Drug and Alcohol, Background), reference checks and offer letters
  • Engage in planning strategies for recruiting needs, including but not limited to understanding job description and job qualifications
  • Support recruiters by qualifying applicants based on requirements
  • Support recruiting by placing job advertisements; using newsgroups and job sites
  • Thoroughly conduct applicants’ phone screenings
  • Administratively support the creation of employee files, answering phones, create orientation packages
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
  • Maintains recruitment records (Ultipro) and compiles reports from the database
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning pre-hire employment (e.g.: I-9 verifications)
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Job Requirements


Bachelor’s Degree


Five  years human resources or recruitment experience


  • Experience in the area of recruiting, staffing and placement in multiple disciplines
  • Ability to proactively establish recruiting sources, tools and processes required
  • Working knowledge of HR federal, state and local requirements related to staffing
  • Comfortable using technology to enable sourcing and talent acquisition strategies with expertise in selection/assessment skills
  • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
  • Strong customer service, negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Highly proactive and productive, possesses strong initiative, self-organized and self-directed skill set
  • Deeply collaborative with the ability to meet objectives
  • Uphold confidentiality and discretion with all sensitive matters
