Job Description

The Support Services departments at BakerRipley work in partnership with all divisions to maintain, operate and deliver services that help keep our region a place of opportunity for all. 

JOB SUMMARY:

Track and monitor Agency’s overall contract, lease and records management processes. Assist with the creation, review, approval and renewal of agency contracts that includes maintaining a detailed and current contracts database, and, monitoring contract processing within the contract document management system. Assist Contract Manager with formal and informal procurement processes. Collect and distribute correspondence relative to agency and program performance. Handle special procurement projects as required by the Director.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Track and monitor the progress of contracts from initiation to execution through the contract document management system to ensure timely submittal and coordination of contract applications and renewals, and related correspondence and supporting documentation
  • Facilitate informal and formal competitive bid quotations, determine lowest bidder that meets specifications, complete competitive bid tabulation summary, and provide supplier recommendations
  • Provide training and assistance to Agency staff on procurement and contract processes
  • Distribute correspondence and reports in a timely manner
  • Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Director

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of professional experience

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Successful applicant may be required to obtain certifications, etc., as required by regulation or contract requirements

SKILLS:

  • Analytical skills and ability to absorb large amounts of information
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong people skills, project management skills, technical writing skills, and time management skills

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY:

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
