  • Revise data science tools and languages with the ability to demonstrate within six months of employment.
  • Be able to produce data reports and narratives, both scheduled and ah-hoc, to present to upper management on a monthly basis

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Development of data + visual dashboards, assisting program staff and leaders, strategy and innovation leadership and the executive team in continuous quality improvement through recommendations for action. Individual will need to investigate and capture the needs of management and staff translating requirements into dashboards and visualization components well suited for both decision making and ensuring effective operations across Programs and Development/Strategy teams.
  • Proactively improve data intake, analysis, and reporting processes; testing new methods and visual designs to best articulate the impact and outcomes of the services and support the agency provides to our neighbors.
  • Develop data-based insights and recommendations through data science tools and languages including Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, text analysis tools, and statistical analysis tools as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to best capture data into CRM or other assigned database for summarization and presentation as well as clean, standardize, and transform raw data as needed.
  • Create brand compliant dashboard templates, provide documentation and training of template use and implementation to other agency employees.
  • Act as a subject matter expert within the Center for Excellence on use of Power BI, Tableau and/or similar tools to create visuals used in reporting, marketing, and presentations – allowing for data driven decision making.
  • Collaborate alongside IT and Compliance & Quality Assurance (CQA) departments to strengthen data infrastructure and integrity through setting data governance policies and supporting education efforts across the agency. May be required to support audit compliance requests as needed.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in reporting through ability to understand data structure, database development and management, algorithm creation and maintenance.
  • Supports new program design and launch to prove and improve BakerRipley’s impact on individual and family outcomes aligned to agency strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with program staff and leadership to provide recommendations on how to structure data, intake, and other survey tools to align program and reporting needs in a way that ensures efficient collection and reporting.
  • Manages the standard reporting process – data collection, storage, analysis, dissemination, and continuous improvement.
  • Supports development of dashboard and other data-driven decision tools program staff can use for their internal continuous quality improvement processes.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain data through object-oriented analysis and design methodologies, supporting data structure and algorithm creation and maintenance supporting efficient data visualization and more automated reporting.
  • Creates and maintains deliverables to support marketing and philanthropic development through data coupled with visual charts and other graphics.
  • Support and work collaboratively with other data management staff across BakerRipley and with external partners as needed.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements improvements in automation and visualization of Evaluation deliverables through continuous learning and collaboration with other departments and divisions.
  • Conduct trainings and presentations to inform others about concepts, practices, learnings and best practices to expand staff capacity internally.
  • Manage deliverables and assignments in parallel and proactively communicate progress, roadblocks, and elevate to management when help is needed.
  • Support longer term migration from on premise to cloud server infrastructure and CRM implementation.
