Job Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist, reporting to the Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor, will work closely with the Disaster Recovery Services Project Recovery Harvey operations team and management from a remote location and oversee all aspects of quality reviews of eligibility, quality improvement, and monitoring for the project.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and comply with quality assurance standards
  • Make sure that quality assurance standards are adequate
  • Review 100% of work completed by eligibility team
  • Investigate and document any problems relating to the product, process, or Quality System
  • Track, document, and report any changes in, or improvements to, the Quality System
  • Prepare reports for management on trends observed and results of quality activities
  • Submit final product to be delivered to customer
  • Outline quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Elaborate the procedures of sampling and guidelines for collection and reporting quality data
  • Document quality assurance activities, such as internal audits
  • Analyze customer grievances and other non-compliance issues
  • Gather and organize statistical quality data
  • Inspect data to detect areas for improvement
  • Elaborate, recommend and oversee improvement actions

 

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Four year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 2-3 years of quality assurance experience
