Job Description

The Support Services departments at BakerRipley work in partnership with all divisions to maintain, operate, and deliver services that help keep our region a place of opportunity for all.

JOB SUMMARY:

Perform internal monitoring reviews to ensure that Agency operations are in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and policies & procedures. Assess internal controls, operations, and administrative functions for efficiency and effectiveness. Identify enhancements that will improve business processes and support future business needs. Provide technical assistance and process improvement support, including the development of tools, templates, and process maps to support the tactical application of business processes as required. Incorporate lean thinking and other process improvement methodologies into process improvement efforts. Assist with special projects.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor assigned program/service areas to determine ongoing compliance with applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations, contractual requirements, and Agency policies and procedures. Occurring monthly, quarterly, or as needed.
  • Develop and utilize monitoring tools as needed to support and document compliance reviews.
  • Prepare and issue timely and accurate compliance reports identifying areas of noncompliance; observations. Maintain complete, organized and accessible compliance records.
  • Work alongside program and administrative staff to document and improve processes; create and update process maps, and provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Facilitate project and process mapping teams effectively to successful completion of specific goals, as needed.
  • Support change management at the organizational level.
  • Support the development of process metrics, scorecards, and reports to support management of processes and operational performance.
  • Develop good working knowledge of local, state, federal and contractual rules and regulations, and interpret information to assess Agency compliance.
  • Review and make recommendations regarding Agency-wide policies and procedures for accuracy, clarity and consistency.
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with external/internal contacts.
  • Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Business, Education, Mathematics, Science, Computer Science or any other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

SKILLS:

  • Analytical skills and ability to absorb large amounts of information.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience in managing and leading organizational change, successful, small-scale, project management experience as well as group facilitation experience. Strong people skills, communication skills, business writing skills, and time management skills.
