Job Summary:

Develops and maintains child care provider contracts. Monitor child care providers to ensure compliance with contractual regulations and provides technical assistance as needed. Conducts training and technical assistance to child care providers as needed to ensure full compliance. Maintains close working relationships with child care providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Prepares and maintains updated paperwork for all records within the time frames specified by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), Rural Capital Board area directives, and policies and procedures.
  2. Follows all procedures and guidelines, participates in meetings and other events to increase understanding of the Workforce Solutions system.
  3. Ensures provider\\program files contain all the required documents pertaining to the service agreements, tax forms, deposit forms, state licenses.
  4. Updates The Workforce Information System of Texas (TWIST) in regards to provider\\program or parent contact and contract\ates updates.
  5. Conducts monitoring of providers\\programs to ensure compliance with contractual regulations, conducts follow up visits on service improvement agreements and provides technical assistance regarding attendance capturing machines and card usage as needed.
  6. Works to resolve problems related to provider\\program contracts and works well with management staff, account representatives and intake eligibility specialists to resolve provider\\program complaints and issues.
  7. Works closely with leadership in developing inclusion plans with providers\\programs caring for children with disabilities.
  8. Collaborates with other Child Care Services (CCS) staff to enhance program operations.
  9. Plans, develops and conducts childcare provider continued learning programs.
  10. Identifies and documents process improvement opportunities.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties satisfactorily and in the volume required by the program. Time based (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) volume, quality, and customer satisfaction expectations and goals may be set for individual aspects of the job by the direct supervisor dependent on the program needs or requirements.
