Job Description

The supportive services departments work with the organization’s divisions to provide BakerRipley the support to continue building neighborhoods that work. 
 
 JOB SUMMARY:  

The People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner – Learning will develop and deliver training courses and programs to all employees of BakerRipley.  This position will also lead the establishment of measurable objectives and expected outcomes of all new and existing training courses and programs.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training Administrative Support:  20%

  • Provide administrative support to the Manager of L&D and HR Team through scheduling, preparation of communications, roster management, materials production, facilities coordination, and participant tracking
  • Prepare meeting/training materials (e.g., agendas, handouts, and designs PowerPoint slides)
  • Scheduling as requested (e.g., NEO, Manager Orientation, Manager Training, Power Hour, Intro A, Assessments, Leadership Development Initiatives etc.)  
  • Assist with the development of the monthly People and Culture progress report for L&D
  • Assist in the development and measurement of performance metrics and KPI’s for training activities to evaluate training effectiveness
  • Monitor the Learning and Development Outlook Mailbox
  • Develop communication alerts for the People and Culture Department: New Employee Alert, Training Invitations, Pre/Post Training Communication
  • Update Managers Toolkit on internal intranet site: WEconnect 

Curriculum Development and Delivery:  70%

  • Serves as a training facilitator as needed, alongside the Manager of L&D, in programs such as New Employee Orientation, Lunch and Learns, and Monthly micro learning sessions
  • Develop e-Learning materials for distribution throughout the agency
  • Work with Instructional Designer to development e-Learning materials and modules for distribution agency wide
  • Create internal e-Learning content, training material and quick reference guides, through technology such as Articulate 360
  • Effectively manage e-Learning projects; sticks to project schedules and communicates progress with team members throughout the development lifecycle
  • Modify third party training materials for specific use at BakerRipley  
  • Track and follow workflow for third party training  
  • Work directly with internal and external course instructors to coordinate logistics for courses, including printing and organization of course materials
  • Provide technical and organizational support in the development/implementation of an effective training curriculum for employees 

Training Evaluation and Organization:  10%

  • Assist with the development of the monthly People and Culture metric report
  • Assist in the development and measurement of performance metrics and KPI’s for training activities to evaluate training effectiveness
  • Create and analyze evaluation survey’s for training activities: Pre/Post/30,60,90 day follow-up

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelors’ degree in related discipline preferably HR or business; advanced degree preferred

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:


At least 3-5 years of Learning and Development Experience

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY:

Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Canva, Adobe, MailChimp, Filmora/Camtasia
