Job Description

  • Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
  • Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
  • Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing problems and drain traps, heaters, hot water systems, disposal, faucets, valves, sinks toilets, drinking fountains, pumps, etc.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems including but not limited to incandescent, LED, or fluorescent lighting systems, ballasts, outlets and motors.
  • Respond to, diagnose and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
  • Door repair and adjustments-Door hardware and closers.
  • Troubleshoot building components.
  • General carpentry, painting, and drywall repair and installation. 
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electric, drywall, painting, blinds and traverse rods, hardware, doors, and cabinets.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Complete daily estimates and submit to supervisor.
  • Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
  • Assist with projects and events as assigned by the Facilities Management team.
  • Complete minor maintenance repairs at Baker Ripley Central and support the facilities maintenance team should the need arise at other agency locations
  • Manage setup of facilities which includes initial work order for scheduled activities, to include furniture and tents, transporting equipment and materials for festivals/functions.
  • Assists with agency disaster support for our facilities as well as our community
  • Completes facilities paperwork including receipts for expense reports
  • Manage and physically move furniture and equipment at Baker Ripley Central and support facilities should assistance be needed at other agency locations
  • Relief driver for shuttle and tour services
  • Make deliveries and pickups as assigned
  • Responds to facilities emergencies and assist as necessary 24/7
  • Performs other duties as assigned
