Job Description

The Health and Wellness division of BakerRipley offers a diverse menu of programs focusing on providing services to our neighbors that contribute to a long and healthy life.  These programs are centered around 8 primary domains of holistic wellness including: physical, intellectual, emotional, environmental, spiritual, social, vocational, and resources. Our work throughout 15 senior centers, 6 community centers, a dementia-specific day center, and within the homes of hundreds of older adults is committed to delivering health and well-being through a combination of outcomes driven, evidence based and/or evidence informed programming.

JOB SUMMARY:

Act as the main administrative coordinator for all Holistic Wellness Programs to ensure that they are operated with high quality and in compliance with the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) contract and any other funding source and regulatory requirements.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures Senior Center Specialist staff is in AAA program compliance which includes reconciliation of weekly meal/transportation utilization reports.
  • Assists with annual client intake assessments and satisfaction surveys; helps prepare policy and procedures binders for AAA Compliance Audits.
  • Maintains data for all holistic wellness programs including client assessments/intake forms using SPURS and BR GetCare systems. Trains staff and helps troubleshoot BR GetCare software system.
  • Handles purchase orders, program deposits and global cash card usage; ensuring all data is entered and organized according to program and agency protocols.
  • Uses BR GetCare system to pull data/outputs reports, and QA client files for missing and/or changed data. Maintenance of all client records and filing systems. Assists with monthly calendar creation.
  • Works with billing staff to ensure that all billable data is communicated and submitted on time weekly/monthly, including nutrition education outputs.
  • Orders meals for congregate meal sites, as well as departmental supplies and operational supplies for senior sites.
  • Assists Holistic Wellness Systems Manager to administer all processes and procedures to ensure program staff is working within AAA regulations and recommends ways to minimize risk.
  • Supports Senior Director with administrative functions.
  • Provides coverage at Senior Center sites as needed when no other certified food manager is available.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

High School Diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years administrative work history preferred.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of one year of data entry experience with an emphasis on regulatory compliance preferred. Background or desire to work with seniors required.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Valid Texas Driver’s License and good driving record
