JOB SUMMARY:

Customer Information and Resource Supervisor coordinates outreach to child care services customers. Develops and maintains comprehensive consumer education including electronic and hard copy environments, Coordinates and manages wait list and effective enrollment patterns.  Coordinates parent engagement through effective verbal and written communication including parent rights and responsibilities, authorization or changes in child care services and usage of attendance application. Supervises staff assigned to support customer information

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follows Agency polices related to supervising, disciplining, and conducting performance appraisals for staff.
  • Coordinates with Customer Eligibility Supervisor and communicates enrollment strategies to management and staff to ensure efficient and effective wait-list and enrollment strategies.
  • Implements and manages wait-list application system.
  • Maintains effective office operations, included but not limited to generating forms, ordering supplies, and outreach activities.
  • Responds to external requests for information on behalf of community partners.
  • Performs administrator duties for internal/external databases.
  • Conducts programmatic reviews on staff work.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience

SKILLS:

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions both orally and in writing in a manner that is understandable to others.
  • Ability to write clear and accurate correspondence and reports.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to handle escalated situations with critical thinking skills and problem solving techniques.

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY:

  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
